What should I bring?
What’s the purpose of this experience?
This ritual is many things, and will likely contain something unique for each person. In the most general sense, it serves as a weekly reminder of the sacredness of life — particularly the significance of people, nature, and our conscious experience.
While each part of this ritual has a specific function, the following descriptions are inadequate to describe the full value of these activities and what emerges when they are combined.
The run brings us intimately into our body, particularly enlivening the heart and lungs, while we connect with our natural surroundings.
The swim connects us with the ocean — its healing and revitalizing presence.
The hot drinks (and their caffeine) add another layer of vitality and expanded presence through the body and mind.
The blessings shift us into a more intentional state for the focused aspects of the ritual.
The guided meditation takes us on a journey through the many facets of conscious experience and heightens our awareness and sensitivity to the present moment. The silence allows us to deepen further into this.
The dialogue allows us to enter into each other's worlds, learning to see in new ways that enrich our lives and expand our perspectives on what’s possible.
How consistently do I need to attend?
You’re welcome to try this experience as a one-off, or for a few weeks. If you find value in it, we recommend attending consistently, as both the individual and collective experiences grow stronger with commitment and momentum.
You’re more than welcome to bring a friend. To maintain the stability of the group dynamics, please only invite one new person at a time and notify one of the facilitators in advance that they are coming.
Can I bring a friend?
Trialing this experience is free. If you choose to participate regularly, we kindly request that you sign up for a membership subscription at a weekly rate that you can afford. This can be as low as $1.
